Our goal was to create a site that was appealing to her target demographic, included all the basic rates, and gave a simple form of contact. We started by addressing the visual style by using some great imagery from iStock, unique textures and a very deep and royal purple color. Future plans for the site include social networking integration, online ordering and scheduling.
Marion Mercer
Finding unique vintage fashion can be a dirty job – so skip the re-sell-it shop and head to Marion Mercer where you will find only the finest. Dealing in big names can draw lots of attention so the site was designed to be chic, simple and quick. Fashion brands like YSL, Lanvin, Halston and more drew so much attention that within a couple months of launching the site took over 75,000 hits in one day. The site was even featured in Glam.com, Paper, Daily Candy, FoxNews, Teen Vogue and many others.
Our specialty is matching the tools to fit the job and for this one we used the Joomla! content management system and IXXO Cart for the eCommerce solution. Custom buttons were designed for every part of the viewing and buying process to match the style and tone set by the homepage. All the products were complimented with high end photography provided by the client.

This site is built entirely on the WordPress platform and is simple and quick to update. To add variety to the homepage it’s also easy to make different sized images that will conform themselves to the grid once published.
LAMP
Medical interpretation is a very important job because it ultimately helps everyone out by getting people the best care possible while preventing costly and very serious medical errors. Their previous website needed some special “treatment” as well as features for easily accessing and updating content on the site. Handling their content was easy using Joomla! – images, video, lists of supported languages and most importantly – easily visible calls to action. People in a dire situation don’t need a hassle when trying to find a contact number so all applicable forms of contact are easily accessible from the homepage.
As part of on going work with do for LAMP, we made a special page just for their MO-TIP program to house a YouTube video, a differentiate header and supplemental information for the program. We also developed a physical sales kit marketing piece that had a gatefold front, pocket folder inside and a DVD!
Stars Design Group
In addition to the custom visual aspects of the site, there are many custom functional features embedded in all the pages as well. Rotators and image centric headers were developed to call attention to main categories while interactive Flash features were implemented to identify global offices and viewing the current product lines.
Steph & Cullen
Weddings are always a fun time but for the bride and groom making sure everyone has the current info can be a bit of a headache. With a wedding website you can easily give all the details about the ceremony, the reception, where out of town guests can find lodging, where the couple is registered and even the ability to RSVP online.
Our goal was to give the couple all these features in a style that fit their wedding colors and theme. We started the site with an image slider that highlighted some of the couple’s favorite pictures followed by the ceremony, reception and lodging details. One of the most talked about features to the site is the RSVP section. This allowed guests to enter their name and RSVP for them and their spouse, children and/or guest as well as leave a message for the couple.
Easy College Meals
Starting college and living on campus can be an interesting chore for some kids. When you have all your meals prepared or purchased for you – cooking becomes a brand new task for thousands each year. To make the burden just a little easier, Easy College Meals provides video recipes and text recipes that are geared towards easy meals (and some to impress your new girl/boy friend). Since a dictionary of recipes isn’t an easy thing to manage, we used Joomla! and jReviews to catalog the vast collection.
This site is DECKED OUT! We integrated social networking features to the site so that people could make their own profiles, chat and share with others and even login via Facebook connect. There are jQuery features, video and text recipe submit forms, social media integration and much more.
Lane House Construction
Since lane house does such a great job, we had to match their level of talent with ours. In all the sites we create we like to make sure content is easily accessible for Google and presented in a tidy and clean manor. We used AJAX and Javascript features to keep a lot of content on the homepage without making it overbearing. These kind of effects can give added movement and life to a page without taking away from serious SEO value.
Stephenson Electric
The site is now built on the Joomla! framework and has allowed us to utilize unique components to enhance the content within the site. This includes the form which has a database of all the entries on the back end of the site, and a flipbook style gallery for all the handwritten testimonials.
